Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Routine Inspection of Industrial and Commercial Rooftop Photovoltaic Power Stations
Applicable scenarios: Daily inspection and inspection of rooftop electrical equipment and ancillary facilities
Inspection tools: infrared thermometer gun, clamp ammeter, smartphone/inspection terminal (equipped with smart photovoltaic digital operation platform App), safety helmet, reflective vest, etc.
1. 光伏组件巡检 (PV Module Inspection)
1.1 Appearance inspection
Check the cleanliness of the surface of the photovoltaic modules and confirm whether there are serious dust accumulations, bird droppings, fallen leaves, weeds and other obstructions.
1.2 Operating temperature detection
Tools: Infrared thermometer gun
Test conditions: Solar irradiance is not less than 500W/m², wind speed is not more than 2m/s.
Judgment criteria: Use a temperature measuring gun to measure the temperature at multiple points on the outer surface of the same photovoltaic module to confirm that the surface temperature difference is not greater than 20°C (to prevent the hot spot effect).
1.3 Mechanical structure inspection
Check the component pressure block, shake it by hand or visually confirm whether each connection point is firm and whether it is loose.
2. 逆变器巡检 (Inverter Inspection)
2.1 Appearance and operating status inspection
Check the appearance of the entire inverter to ensure that the equipment is clean and free of serious dust accumulation.
Get close to the device and confirm through your senses: there is no smell of burning electrical appliances, no abnormal operating noise, and the cooling fan is operating normally.
2.2 Temperature and electrical connection detection
Tools: Infrared thermometer gun
Detect the operating temperature of the inverter.
Focus on detecting the temperature of the cable interface on the DC side and AC side of the inverter to confirm that there is no abnormal heating.
Visually inspect the cable insulation layer to confirm that there are no signs of aging, heating, or discharge (arcing).
2.3 电流检测
工具:钳形电流表
Test each DC branch of the inverter one by one to observe and check whether the current value is within the normal range.
2.4 Recording and Restoration
Take photos to obtain evidence of the equipment's operating status and detection values, and upload them to the "Smart Photovoltaic Digital Operation Platform" to preserve the traces.
After the inspection is completed, be sure to close and lock the inverter cabinet door.
2.5 Bracket system inspection
Check all fasteners and connections of the inverter mounting bracket to make sure they are not loose or falling off.
Observe the anti-corrosion coating on the surface of the bracket to confirm whether there is cracking or large-scale peeling off.
3. Fire Safety Equipment Inspection
3.1 Fire extinguisher body inspection
Check the fire extinguisher barrel to confirm there is no obvious corrosion, deformation or physical damage.
Check the expiration date of the fire extinguisher to make sure it has not expired.
Observe the pressure gauge pointer to confirm whether the pressure is within the normal range (green zone).
3.2 Safety accessories inspection
Check the lead seal and safety pin of the fire extinguisher to make sure they are intact and have not been pulled out or damaged.
3.3 记录更新
On the paper inspection card attached to the fire extinguisher, fill in the inspection record, date and signature.
Take photos to record the inspection results and upload them to the digital operation platform.
4. Cable Tray & Grounding Inspection
4.1 Visual inspection of the bridge
Patrol along the direction of the bridge to check whether there is serious corrosion or structural damage on the surface of the metal bridge.
Test the bridge cover with your hands to confirm that it is firmly fixed and has not been blown open or displaced by strong winds.
4.2 Grounding system inspection
Check the ground jumpers between metal cable trays to confirm whether the connection terminals are reliably connected and not loose.
Check the bolt nodes of all grounded flat irons on the roof array to confirm whether they are tightened one by one.
5. Reporting of inspection results (Reporting & Conclusion)
5.1 数据录入
Open the "Smart Photovoltaic Digital Operation Platform" App, fill in the results of all inspection items, and form a complete electronic inspection record.
5.2 Summary and closed loop
Analyze and summarize data anomalies or hidden dangers discovered during inspections in the system.
Finally, a standardized "inspection report" is generated through the platform with one click and submitted to the power station owner.
